Eddie E. Adkins, 67, of Hinton died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Summers Co. ARH following a long illness.
Born November 8, 1946 at Hinton he was the son of the late Lonnie and Rachel Adkins. Eddie was a lifelong resident of Summers Co. and a former employee of Cabot Gas Co.
Preceded in death by one brother, Delbert Lee Adkins.
Survived by one brother, Donald Adkins and three sisters, Mildred Martin, Lula Mae and Eunice Raines.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday January 26, 2014 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Eddie Crews officiating. Burial will follow in the Esquire Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until service time on Sunday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
