Eddie Gene Wills, 68, of Madams Creek received his heavenly reward Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born August 23, 1953 at Hinton he was a son of Clarence and Virginia Wills.
Eddie was the Assistant Pastor of Laurel Creek Baptist Church. He was a former truck driver for Lane Trucking, Burns and retired from West Virginia Department of Highways. He enjoyed taking care of his beloved cats.
Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Ginger Wills; one brother, Jimmy Ray Wills and one nephew, Jimmy Ray Wills Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory include two brothers, Robert Wills of Madams Creek and Melvin Wills and wife Shirley of Shady Spring; special niece, Libby Meadows and husband Timmy of Madams Creek and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Melvin Wills and Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral parlors. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
