Edwin Brunty

Edwin Duane Brunty, 63, of Piney View went home to be with the Lord, Monday, June 19, 2006 at his home following a short illness. Born February 7, 1943 at Quinnimont he was a son of the late Lee Brunty and Dorothy Radford Brunty Bailey. Duane was a member of the Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church and had worked as a brick mason.Preceded in death by his stepfather Don Bailey.Left to cherish his memory, his wife, Margie Farley Brunty, one daughter, Sarah Richmond and husband Darrell of Talcott, four grandchildren, Britni, Cortney, Veronica and Nicholas; stepmother, Dessell Brunty of Cottageville, three brothers, Verdus Brunty of Cottageville, Terry Brunty and wife Ruth of Piney View and Don Bailey and wife Jean of Piney View; five sisters, Martha Goble and husband James of Piney View, Vernice Cedar and husband Kenneth of Ravenswood, Vanessa Shockey and husband Steve, Valenda Ramson and husband Larry, and Valerie Rhodes all of Ripley.Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Phillip Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in Roles Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 A.M. till time of the service on Thursday.Ronald, Bill, John, and Keith Farley, Don and Scott Bailey will serve as pallbearers.
