Elizabeth Codish

Elizabeth Tolbert Codish, 85, of Bay Village, OH, formerly of Summers Co., died Tuesday, May 24, 2005. Born on April 7, 1920, she was the devoted daughter of John L. and Effie Jane Tolbert.She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Codish. She was a loving mother and best friend to daughters Jayne Huseby and husband Odd of Tucson, AZ and Joan Johncock of Lakewood, OH. She was also a nurturing and doting ?Yia Yia? (grandmother) of Olivia and Astrid Elizabeth Huseby and Michael and Kathryn Johncock. Dearest sister of Margaret Stennett of Hilldale and Roy Tolbert. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Mann and Faye Stanley and one brother, Harold Tolbert. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church with Pastors Sterling Morgan, Eugene Fullen and Jay VanReenen officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery at Forest Hill. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 A.M. until funeral time Thursday.
