Ella Margaret Grimmett, 88, of Franklin, TN formerly of Alderson passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN following a long illness.
Born October 20, 1928 in Summers County she was a daughter of the late Samuel Walter Kincaid and Murell Berkley Kincaid Jeffries.
Ella was a homemaker who enjoyed reading crocheting, canning and shopping at thrift stores.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry "Joe" Hershel Grimmett; one daughter, Shirley Weatherholtz and two brothers, Ralph Kincaid and Samuel Ray Kincaid.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Beverly Cook and husband John of AL and Jessica Heidelberg of MS; one son, Greg Grimmett Cozart of TN; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren and one brother, Samuel "Pete" Kincaid of Alderson.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor John Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Tempa Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
