Elsie Bell Rohrbaugh Adkins, 75, of Hinton went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Princeton Community Hospital following a long illness.
Born April 3, 1943 at Smoke Holes, WV she was the daughter of the late McKinley and Ella Jane Conrad Rohrbaugh.
Elsie was a homemaker of the Christian faith. She enjoyed gardening and loved her entire family.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Adkins and three siblings, Ethel Jane "Betty" Fields, Earl Rohrbaugh and Estel Rohrbaugh.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, David Adkins of Hinton; two daughters, Betty Adkins Bennett Grimmett and husband James of Hinton and Rhoda Roberts and husband Kevin of Bluefield; three grandchildren, Jennifer Buckland and husband Ronnie of Hinton, Jessica Roberts and Tyler Roberts both of Bluefield; two great grandchildren, Aria and Parker Buckland of Hinton; a special ex son in law whom she loved like a son, Dennis Bennett and several nieces and nephews whom she loved.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Family Cemetery on Madams Creek. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Saturday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank Dr. Khan and Staff, Dr. Day and Alisa Lane, the staff of Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation, Princeton Community Hospital and Summers County EMS.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
