Emma Jean "Jeanie" Lucas Snow, 59, of Greenville passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at her home following a sudden illness. Born September 25, 1959 at Talcott, she was the daughter of the late Elsworth and Mary Surber Lucas.
Jeanie was a former assistant manager at Coin-Op Laundry and Car Wash, who enjoyed making people laugh and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Ray Lucas, brothers Bobby Gene Lucas and Charles Douglas "Chuck" Lucas, and sister, Opal Mae Lucas Hurley.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, William Joseph Snow, daughter Mary Ellen Bennett and companion Danny Wayne Vandall of Greenville; stepdaughter Staci Snow Angell of GA; grandchildren Stephen Quirk of VA; Isaiah Adkins and Nathan Lucas of Hix; Raven, Rachel, and Elijah Lucas of Meadow Bridge; Casey Bennett of Morgantown; and Alexis Bennett of Lewisburg; two great grandchildren, Ivy Smith and Eli Quirk; two brothers, James Richards of Whitsett, NC and Oliver Richards and wife Rosemary of Covington, VA; sister, Janet Crawford and husband Randy of Cool Ridge; sister in law, Rebecca "Becky" Lemon Lucas and close friend, Tammy Sears of Hinton.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Sunday October 14, 2018 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lucas Family Cemetery at True. Friends may call from 12:00 pm until service time on Sunday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
