Eric Vance

Eric Paul Vance, age 64, of Princeton WV, left this earthly portal on Jan 26, 2022.

He was born on Oct 6, 1957 in Hinton, WV, son of the late Wattie and Louella Jarrell Vance, formerly of Nimitz. Eric grew up attending Jumping Branch Grade School and Nimitz Baptist Church. He was a degreed psychologist from

Concord University. Eric was truly multi-talented and after a stint in the Air Force and graduation, he served as a family counselor in Southern WV. From there, he became a well-known jeweler in Tucson, AZ. He recently retired from GEICO in Tucson, AZ. After living in Tucson for more than 30 years, he returned to Southern WV. Besides his musical aptitude for string instruments, his photography was loved by friends and family. Much of his work can be seen on Facebook. His wit and charm will be missed by all.

He will be missed by his good friends, Carla Robinson and Diana Hayes; brother, Keith and Cruz Vance; cousins, Aimee Cartwright and family and Eleanor McClure and family; nephews, Jefferson Vance and Daniel Vance; nieces, Heidi Wheeler, Cynthia Craig, and Merari Vance.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly- Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral parlor.
