Erma Brogan

Erma Lee Brogan, 69, of Summers Co., died at 9:45 P.M. Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Raleigh General Hospital at Beckley, following a long illness. Born May 9, 1939 at Hancock Co., Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Will and Ora Lee Perkey Brogan. Mrs. Brogan was a homemaker and a Christian lady. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Edward L. Brogan, four sisters; Edith Greene, Myrtle Reed, Paulette and Donna Bee Brogan and one brother, Kyle Brogan. Survived by two daughters; Debra Seals and husband Jim of Sneedville, TN and Patricia Hughes and husband Mark of Barger Springs, one son; James Brogan and wife Kelly of Bristow, VA, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one sister; Ruth Collins and husband Ralph of West Carrollton, OH and seven brothers; Dorman Brogan and wife Edith of Bulls Gap, TN, Robert Brogan of Carlisle, OH, Glen Brogan and wife Nancy of Miamisburg, OH, Bill Brogan and wife Phyliss of West Liberty, KY, Rual Brogan and wife Wilma of Morehead, KY, Doyle Brogan and wife Judy of Longview TX and Dean Brogan and wife Joyce of Morristown, TN. At her request, her body has been cremated. Memorial services will held Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, at Hilldale with Pastor Lance Yost officiating. The family will receive friends after 1:00 P.M.Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
