Ethel Mae Bower, 54 of Hinton went to be with the Lord April 1, 2010 following a short illness.
Born October 31, 1955 in Summers Co. she was the daughter of the late Homer and Rhoda Bennett Adkins. A homemaker and lifelong resident of Summers Co. she was a loving mother, grandmother and dear friend.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers.
Survivors include two children, Lee Bower and wife Lori of Nimitz and Darlene Bragg and husband Donnie of Jumping Branch; four grandchildren, Austin and Michaela Bower and Bryanna and Dylan Bragg; three sisters, Mamie Dunford, Ida Mae Harrison and Judy Adkins; four brothers, Russell, Dale, Wilbert and James Adkins.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Elder Tommy Pack officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Family Cemetery at Madams Creek. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Monday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
