Eva Blanche "Cricket" Richmond

 Eva Blanche “Cricket” Richmond, 91, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 2, 2024 at Bowers Hospice House following a short illness.

 Born October 2, 1933 at Hinton, WV she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Cecile Smith Boland.

 Eva was a former Licensed Practical Nurse at Hinton Hospital. She was a member of Nimitz Missionary Baptist Church who enjoyed reading, baking, quilting, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.

 Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Steward L. Richmond; three children, Regenia Cook, Donna Harrah and Tom Richmond; one grandchild, Jaime Harrah and one brother, Robert Angell.

 Those left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren, Krista Sampson, Melanie Spurlock, Jeremy Cook, Alisha Shaw, Michelle Phillips, Haley Harrah, Thomas Richmond, William Richmond, Anthony Richmond, Justin Richmond and J.J. Cook; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one brother, Herbert Boland; special son in law with whom she resided, Jerry Cook and a special niece, Susan Boland.

 Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Tom and Dalene Coffman officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral parlors. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
