Faye Kathryn Adkins, 78 of Sand Knob Road, Nimitz went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Summers Nursing and Rehab following a long illness.
Born September 23, 1932 at Summers County she was the daughter of the late Silas Beldon and Lorene Petrey Wills. Faye was a homemaker who loved growing and arranging her flowers, a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who was of the Methodist Faith.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Lee Adkins and one sister, Imogene Hutchison.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 45 years, Charles Adkins of Sand Knob; one daughter, Patricia Hoyle of True; one grandson, Michael Hoyle of True; three sisters, Aileen Cole and husband Charles of Sand Knob, Mona Richmond and husband Harold of Forest Hill and Lucille Dillon of Manassas, VA and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Houchins-Wynn Cemetery at True with Pastor Johnny Wills officiating.
At her request there will be no visitation.
