Frank Michael Roberto, 66, of Lerona, WV, formerly of Cleveland, OH, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 3, 2008 at his home, following a long battle with leukemia. Born November 1, 1941 at Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Ross and Angela Malaska Roberto. Frank was an active member of the Rocky Mt. Community Church at Pipestem, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Viet Nam conflict, having served with the 3rd Batallion, 38th Artillary from Fort Sill, OK, he was retired from B.F. Goodrich Aerospace in Cleveland, OH with 25 years of service and was a member of the Lonely Hillbilly Car Club of Princeton, WV. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Bernadette Relinsky. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Ruth Myrnia Cook-Roberto, â??Mercer Co. Historical Society Photographerâ??, and by his precious puppies, Baby Lou, (deceased), Annie, Christmas, Molly, Baby Henry, Sandy, Josephina and Solemina, these dogs and birds gave him so much joy and love. Besides his wife and pets, he is survived by one sister, Loucille Bohley and husband Frank of Parma Heights, OH, stepdaughters; Lisa Cook of Omaha, Nebraska and Roseanna Lee DeJesus and son-in-law Christopher DeJesus and one granddaughter; Samantha DeJesus all of Parma, OH; stepson Paul Muca of Cleveland, OH, sisters-in-law; Marie Lilly of CA, Marceline Green of Bobwhite, WV, Ruby and George Adkins of Yawkey, WV and Margie Bradley of Ittman, WV, brothers-in-law, Manuel Bradley and wife Rosalee of Clothier, WV, Mason Bradley of Mt. Olive, WV and Randy Bradley and wife Arlene of Barrett, WV, special nieces, Kay Buckner of Danville, WV and Lisa Connors of Parma Heights, OH who were a special help to us during his illness, and many more wonderful nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Sunday at the Rocky Mount Community Church at Pipestem with Pastor Ray â??Buckâ?? Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Mount Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 6-8 P.M. on Saturday and at the church one hour prior to services.
