Franklin Rogers

Franklin Delano â??Frankâ?? Rogers, 74, of Talcott, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at his home, following a short illness. Born January 30, 1934 at Widen, WV, he was the son of the late Matthew H. and Virginia Belle Bishop Rogers. Frank was a retired Commercial Painter and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Louise Duventhal and one brother Jack Rogers. He is survived by three daughters; Terri Lynn Lewis of Charleston, WV; Jacklyn Padgett of Salt Lake City, Utah and Jessica Rogers of Cleveland, OH; one son; Franklin Rogers Jr. of Edgemore, S.C.; Four grandchildren; One Brother; William Edward Rogers of Talcott and Six Sisters; Maxine Thompson of Mt. Hope; Evelyn Jean Davis of Beckley; Mary Weaver of Michigan; Sandra Christian of Talcott; Shelby Nottingham of WV; Joan Spieth of Brunswick, OH and a special friend and caregiver Ella Mae Rogers of Talcott. As requested by the family the body was cremated and private services will be held at a later date.
