Gary Gene Lilly, 52 of Beckley formally of Hinton died Wednesday August 4, 2010 at Raleigh General Hospital following an apparent heart attack.
Born July 2, 1958 at Talcott he was the son of the late Prince Albert Lilly and Amy Buckland. Gary was a Baptist and a roofing contractor before becoming disabled. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by one sister Nancy Farley, two brothers; Jackie Buckland and James ?Jimmy? Buckland.
Gary is survived by his wife Marcella Cabell Lilly, his daughter Heather Lilly and his son Cody Lilly and a grandson Josiah Lilly all of Beckley. Two sisters Gloria Willett and Husband Richard of FL., Rosalee O?Bryan and husband Bob of Hinton, three brothers, Frankie Buckland, Earl Buckland and wife Emmy both of Hinton and Jerry Lilly of FL., one uncle Lacy Buckland of Hinton.
Funeral services will be Monday August 9, 2010 at 2 PM at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor James Ford officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until time of service on Monday.
