Gary Wayne Lilly, 51, of Lebanon, Ky., formerly of Pipestem, WV, died Wednesday, February 8, at University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fl.Born May 14, 1955 at Pipestem, he was the son of the late James C. â??Busterâ?? and Margie Keaton Lilly of Pipestem. Mr. Lilly spent most of his working career as a plant superintendent for a Capital Heights, Md., rock quarry. After moving to Kentucky, he was employed by a concrete contracting company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Dean Lilly. Survivors include a son, Bobby Lilly, of Southern MD; two daughters, Kimberly Lilly of Baltimore, MD, and Melissa Brown of Charlotte Hall, MD; three grandchildren; two brothers, Damon Lilly of Pipestem, WV, and Darrell Lilly of Lawrenceburg, KY; eight sisters, Edith Weatherford of Melbourne, FL, Evelyn Currence of Pipestem, Elizabeth Lyons of Clinton, TN, Mona Hammel of Sierra Vista, AZ, Samantha Lilly of Fairfax, VA, Janet Johnson of Lawrenceburg, KY, Freda Grossman of Pipestem, and Garnette Lilly of Cross Lanes, WV; 15 nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and nephews; and one great-great niece. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Cook's Chapel Baptist Church at Pipestem with Pastor Dallas Peyton Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Knob Cemetery at Pipestem. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 6-8 P.M. Sunday. His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
