Gaston Clark

Gaston B. Clark, 91, of Ellison Ridge passed away at his home Monday, October 12, 2020.

Born May 11, 1929 at Camp Creek he was a son of the late Henry and Hettie Meador Clark.

Gaston was a former Summers County bus driver, a farmer and a timberman.  He was a member of the Ellison Baptist Church.

Gaston was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Magdalene Clark; six sisters; three brothers and two grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Those left to cherish his memory include four sons, Marvin Clark of Beckley, James Clark of Ellison Ridge, Larry (Peggy) Clark of Ellison Ridge and Darrell (Bonnie) Clark of Maple Fork; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

At Gaston’s request the body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Friday October 23, 2020 in the Clark Family Cemetery with Rev. Junior Plumley officiating.

The family would like to extend thanks to Hospice of Southern WV and PCH Home Health for the excellent care provided to Gaston.
