George Andrew Chapman, 74, of Richmond, VA passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the Chippenham Hospital following a long illness.
Born January 12, 1939 at Beckley, WV he was a son of the late George W. and Ageon C. Chapman.
A U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired federal employee from Richmond, VA, George loved college and professional sports as well as being an avid photographer.
Those left to cherish his memory include his cousins, Phyllis Lilly and Rosa Lee Lilly both of Gretna, VA.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlors one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
