Glada Richmond

Glada M. Richmond, 86, of Harper Heights, formerly of Wayside, died 9:45 a.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 at home following a long illness.

Born October 25, 1927 at Wayside, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Lottie Kessinger McCall and had lived most of her life at Wayside and had resided with her niece at Harper Heights for the past 4 ½ years.

Glada was a member of the Pillar of Truth Church at Barger Springs. Although she never had any children of her own, she helped rear many of her nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Orville ?Bill? Richmond and one brother, Gomer McCall.

Survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Pillar of Truth Church at Barger Springs with Pastors Orville Meadows and Leonard Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the church on Thursday.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
