Gladys Pearl Plumley, 83, of Hinton, died at 6:50 A.M. Friday, November 19, 2004 at the Summers Co. Continuous Care Center at Hilldale, following a long illness. Born July 15, 1921 at Hinton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Edna Lilly Gill. Mrs. Plumley was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Hinton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse C. Plumley, four brothers and one sister. Survived by one daughter, Linda Jean Von Der Linde of Tucson, AZ, two sons, Jackie Plumley and wife Garnette of Parkersburg and Ryan Plumley and wife Freda of Hinton, one sister, Oma Deaver of Pipestem, three granddaughters; Kimberly Weathersby, Lynn Dyer and husband Allen and Denise Meador and husband Eric, two grandsons; Chris Plumley and Wife Donna and Ryan C. Plumley, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters. Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Upland Cemetery near Hinton, with Preacher Harry Allen officiating. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton from noon until 1:30 P.M. on Sunday. Pallbearers: Steve Sears, Mike Patrick, Allen Dyer, Samuel and Ron Smith and Eric Hicks.
