Glenna Mojeane Adkins

     Glenna Mojeane Adkins, 73, of Beckley formerly of Hinton passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at her home following a long illness.

     Born March 24, 1949 at Ramp she was a daughter of the late Robert and Annie Francis Clay Hicks.

     Homemaker and lived most of her life in Summers Co. and enjoyed flower gardening, gospel music, spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren.

    Preceded in death by her first husband, Berthel Cales Sr., second husband,  Norman Ed Adkins; one son, Hurshel Cales; eight grandchildren; an brother, Lewis Levi Hicks, three sisters, Delores Hundley, Ginger Wills, and Hazel Weidenhoft.

     Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Berthel Cales Jr., Robert Cales, Ginger Hunt, Norma Rice and husband Charles, Edna Vest and husband Andy, Holly Jones and husband Tyrone; two step-children, Gary W. Cales and Myarlin Jean Smith; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Janette Reed and Helene Rizzuto; one brother, Samuel Hicks.

     Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Mark Bayle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery at Sandstone.  Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services Saturday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
