Gloria Jean Farley, 60, of Madams Creek went home to be with the Lord on Thursday September 22, 2005 after a long illness. Born May 9, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Bert and Catherine Louise Buckland Thomas. Gloria was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. A special friend to so many other people who knew her. She was of the Christian Faith and a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Forest Hill. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 39 years Joe N. Farley of Madams Creek, two sons: Joey and Jimmy Farley both of Madams Creek, one daughter: Kathy Fleshman and her husband Charlie of Marie, two very special grandsons: Jacob and Matthew Fleshman of Marie. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday September 25, 2005 at the Friendship Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Spencer and Rev. Bill Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Cemetery at Madams Creek. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. on Saturday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to the Greenbrier Valley Hospice or the Walk For Her Lifetime in Summers Co. Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton
