Goldie Mae Gore, 74, of Hinton passed away, April 11, 2013 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness.
Born March 13, 1939 in Summers County she was a daughter of the late David B. and Thelma Edith Rouse Adkins.
Goldie was a homemaker who enjoyed watching television and spending time with family and friends.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde B. Adkins, James Lee Gravely and Earl David Gravely.
Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Eddie Fox, Kevin Fox and J.C. Gore; two daughters, Brenda Gore and Jackie Fox Vargas; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Berry, Rebecca Adkins and Tammy Smith and a special friend, Russell Adkins.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors.
