Gregory Scott

Gregory Cole Scott, 59, of Jumping Branch died 6:00 a.m. Wednesday January 3, 2007 at the VAMC Beckley following a long illness. Born May 21, 1947 at Hinton, he was a son of Mildred Cole Scott of Jumping Branch and the late George B. Scott. Greg was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Disabled Clerk and Train Dispatcher for the CSX Corporation. A graduate of Hinton High School Class of 1965, and a member of the Hinton Masonic Lodge # 62. Besides his mother he is survived by one Aunt Betty Jane Scott of Meadow Creek. Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Friday Jan. 5, 2007 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Jeff Canterbury officiating. Burial will follow in the Cochran Cemetery at Mt. View. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 1 P.M. until time of services.Pallbearers will be Harold Hatcher, David N. Cole, Kevin N. Cole, Rodney Pack, Arthur Adkins and Chris Hersman.
