Harold Dennis Bragg

            Harold Dennis Bragg, 76, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Plateau Medical Center following a long illness.

            Born November 11, 1946 in Hinton he was the son of the late James and Sarah Lena Persinger Bragg.  Harold loved horses, watching westerns, hunting, birdwatching and spent the last three years at Fayette Nursing.

            Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie “Junior” Bragg; four sisters, Eula Bennett, Imogene Thompson, Geneva Sims and Glenna Bailey and two infant sisters.

            Survived by his son, Adam Bragg and his wife Bernice; two grandsons, James and MacAdam; and one sister, Juanita Setliff and several nieces and nephews. Harold is also survived by his wife of 37 years, Eva Ann Bragg; two stepdaughters, Doneva Chilton and Tamie Pearson and ten step grandchildren.

            Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bragg Family Cemetery at Tug Creek.  Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral parlors.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
