Harold â??Halâ?? J. Hatcher, 51 of Nimitz died December 6, 2007 at the Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley following a short illness. Born December 13, 1955 in Summers County he was a son of the late Wilbur and Ruie Mae Hatcher. A member of the Hinton Masonic Lodge #62 A.F. & A.M., employed by Serve Pro as a Crew Supervisor, life long resident of Summers Co and a graduate of Hinton High School. Preceded in death by one sister, Patty Whitten and one brother, Gary Hatcher. Survived by his wife, Gloria Hatcher of Nimitz; one son, James Douglas â??Jayâ?? Hatcher of Cool Ridge; one step-daughter, Christina Lynn Bennett and her son Jayson of Nimitz. Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 9, 2007 at the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz with the Hinton Masonic Lodge #62 A.F. & A.M. Presiding. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers it was Halâ??s hopes and dreams to be a part of his sonâ??s future. An educational fund has been established for donations of sympathy at the First Century Bank, P.O. Box 70, Hinton, WV 25951. Mark Bolling, Timmy Bolling, Dale Bragg, Greg Edwards, Donnie Neely and Rick Key will serve as honorary pallbearers.
