Harry L. Webb, 79 of Hinton, went home to be with the Lord at 6:45 A.M. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at the Bluestone Care Home following a long illness. Born June 25, 1927 at Bertha he was the son of the late Tyler and Nellie Haynes Webb. He was a member of the Bellepoint Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Summers County. Harry was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of the United Transportation Union retiring from the CSX Corp. as a conductor after 43 years of service. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Claire Rock and one brother, Mike Webb. Survived by his wife of 45 years Virginia L. Webb; two sons, David L. Webb and his wife Susan of Ashburn, VA and Mark L. Webb and his wife Karen of Hinton; two grandsons, Tyler and Tanner Webb of Ashburn, VA. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday January 26, 2007 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor David Board officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Burial Park. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral parlors.
