Hazel Lilly

Hazel Kathleen Lilly, 85 of Ravenswood, formerly of Hinton, died July 13, 2009 at home following a long illness. Born February 24, 1924 at Big Creek she was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Ollie G. Goff. Hazel moved to Ravenswood in 1982 with her husband Raymond where she worked as an In-home Healthcare Aide. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Edward Lilly and two sisters, Evelyn Reed and Nina Mae Goff Survived by four daughters, Elizabeth Kathleen Patterson of Asheville, NC, Shirley June Lilly of South Charleston, Doris Jean Sherman of Highland, IL and Marilyn Rae Labo of Ravenswood; one son, Edward Keith Lilly of Ravenswood; four grandchildren, Jeffrey K. Patterson and Jennifer E. Grubb both of Asheville, NC, Cynthia D. Lilly of South Charleston, Susan A. Sherman-Adkins and husband Ernest of New Douglas, IL; five great grandchildren, Evan Henry and Hannah Grubb of Asheville, NC, Alexia Lilly of South Charleston, Kendra and Sasha Adkins of New Douglas, IL; two step-great grandchildren, Matthew and Amber Adkins of New Douglas, IL and three sisters, Wanda J. Lively of Hinton, Reva King of Warren, OH and Maxine Richmond of True. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Eddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Burial Park. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Friday at the Funeral Parlors. Family will serve as pallbearers.
