Helen M. Farmer, 76, of Madams Creek, Hinton died at 3:00 P.M. Sunday February 18, 2007 at the Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital at Hinton, following a long illness. Born February 12, 1931 at Hinton she was the daughter of the late Bessie Davis Farmer and had lived all of her life in Hinton. She was a former nurse aide at the Summers County Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband Ernest R. Farmer, February 1980 and a special friend, Andy Bennett. Survived by two sons, Randy Farmer and wife Mary of Princeton and Gary Farmer and wife Datsi of Hinton; one grandson, Jamie Farmer and wife Dee of Princeton; one great grandson, David Farmer; one brother, Jimmy Farmer and wife Joyce of Jumping Branch and one niece, Kaylee Farmer. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor O.B. â??Sonnyâ?? Angell officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery on Madams Creek. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. on Wednesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton.
