Helen Gill

Helen Marie Crowe Gill, 60 of Scarbro went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

Born March 17, 1960 in Summers County, she was a daughter of the late William Owen and Carolyn June Carr Crowe.

Helen was a homemaker who attended the New Beginning Church of God at Glen Jean. Helen adored her two dogs, Chewy and Annie and loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Kay Crowe; two brothers, Tommy and Bobby Crowe.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Lloyd Gill of Scarbro; one son, Chris Gill and wife Karen of Oak Hill; one daughter, Pamela Dillon and husband Danny of Talcott; six grandchildren, Brenda Blankenship and husband John Paul, Raeann Gill and Krista Gill, all of Oak Hill, Olivia Gill, Christian Dillon and Dani Lyn Dillon, all of Talcott; one great granddaughter, Bella Blankenship of Oak Hill; one brother, Melvin Crowe; three sisters, Robin Crowe, Cherrie Gill and Janet Quiambao; one sister in law, Betty Crowe and several nieces and nephews.

For the safety of the community and the family a private family service will be held at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Rev. Bob Carr and Chris Gill officiating. Burial will follow in the Gill Family Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
