Helen M. Maddy

     Helen M. Maddy, 71, of Clayton entered into eternal rest Monday, January 9, 2023 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.

     Born August 22, 1951 in Tempa she was a daughter of the late Melvin E. and Daisy Richmond Boone Williams.

     Helen was of the Baptist faith. She was a beautician for many years while her health permitted.  Helen loved gospel music, reading and spending time with her son and grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Maddy; three half sisters, Josephine Patterson, Lou Freda Belcher and Patsy Rush; one half brother, Shelby Boone and one brother, Ricky Williams.

     Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Mark (Kelly) Maddy; three grandchildren, Savion, Jasmine and Kingsley Maddy; five siblings, Delmas (Mary) Williams, Kenneth Williams, Larry (Sue) Williams, Jeannie Hicks and Gail Williams and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

     A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
