Helen Williams

Helen Sue Richmond Williams, 71, of Beech Run, Hinton, died at 11:30 A.M. Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Summers Co. ARH at Hinton following a short illness. Born November 22, 1937 at Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Burt C. and Lila Amick Richmond. She was a former employee of the West Virginia State Prison for Women at Pence Springs; a member of the Leatherwood Baptist Church and was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. Preceding her in death is one brother, Dr. Henry Pittsenbarger. Survived by her husband of 51 years, James L. Williams; one daughter, Rhonda S. Patrick and husband Eugene of Hinton; one son, James Alan Williams and wife Carletta of Hinton; one sister, Donna L. Shrader of Hinton; three grandchildren, Dustin Scherich, Jessica Williams and Travis Salmons; and her loving companion and pet Cody. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Pete Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 6-8 P.M. Monday. Pallbearers will be Mike Miller, Scott Cook, Mike Taylor, Dustin Scherich, Travis Salmons and Eugene Patrick.
