Herman Cales

Herman Jackson Cales was born July 8, 1947. He received his promotion to Eternal Life May 11, 2016. Herman was a born again Christian. The love of God and Humanity that he expressed daily with a sunshine smile, welcoming spirit and the joy of cooking and feeding everyone will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Wanda Jeanie Cales ; three sons, Herman Scott Cales and wife Angie of Hickory NC, Kris Cales and wife Leslie of Ramp, and Tim Cales of Ramp; grandchildren, Steven, Joey, and Josh Gill, Levi, Lindsey, Anthony, Sydney, Briar, Destiny, and Wesley Cales; one brother, Lewis Cales of Ramp and one sister Virginia Betty Jane Coffman of Waynesville Ohio.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Jean Cales-Blackburn on May 27, 2009 and three brothers.
A Celebration of the life service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Ramp Holiness Church with Pastor Felix Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Dick Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Ramp Holiness Church at Ramp.
Robert Dick, Melford Ward, Bob Hamilton, Harvey Bryant, Danny Stover and James Ward will serve as pallbearers.

Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
