Hettie Lilly

Hettie Lilly, 78, of Ellison Ridge went home to be with the Lord Sunday February 7, 2021 at Raleigh General Hospital following a short illness.

Born April 20, 1942 at Ellison she was the daughter of the late Kennett and Thelma Mae Farley Lilly.  A homemaker and lifelong resident of Summers County she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by five brothers, Clifford, Eddie, Lester, Freddie and Edward Lilly and three sisters, Anna, Cleo and Bonnie Lilly.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Stanley Lilly of Ohio; four brothers, Oley Lilly of Ellison, Aldie Lilly and wife Barbara of Ellison, Boone Lilly of Fireco and Donald Lilly of Charleston; two sisters, Mabel Wills of Raleigh and Mary Cole of Norfolk, VA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday February 10, 2021 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Wayne Bolen officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lilly Family Cemetery at Ellison.  Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral parlors.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
