Hobert Fox

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Hobert James Fox, age 86, of Hinton, WV went to be with the Lord July 22, 2021 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was an avid hunter with many a hunting tales.  He always kept busy helping family, friends, and neighbors.  Later in life he enjoyed his vegetable and strawberry gardens.  Hobert loved sitting on his porch taking in all of God’s creation.

Preceded in death by his parents Harry A. and Ida Mae Smith Fox; son, David Fox; two grandchildren, Tracey Thomas and Brittany Lilly and several brothers and sisters.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 64 years, Janice Graham Fox; his children, Penny Cole, Pamela Lilly (Michael), and Brian Fox; his grandchildren, Stephanie Creed  and daughters, Kiza and Klohey; Anna Blackwell (Sammy) and daughter Montgomery; Clayton Fox (Rebecca) and daughters Willow and Elora; Hunter Fox, Julia Fox, Hope McBride (Elijah) and daughters Isabella and Grace; Sara Magen Cyrus (Geoffrey) her children Gavin, Carson and Ainsley; Siblings, Paul Fox (Nancy), Pauline Angell (Jennings), Judy Bennett (Arnold); special sister-in-law and brother-in-law Bonnie and Mark Ward and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Monday July 26, 2021 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Eddie Wills and Felix Baker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery.  Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of services on Monday at the funeral parlors.

Pete Fox, Antonio Fox, Mike Fox, Wayne Grimmett, Geoffrey Cyrus, and Michael Lilly will serve as pallbearers.
