Howard K. Harvey, 51, of Jumping Branch, died Tuesday morning at his home, following a long illness. Born January 15, 1953 in Summers Co., he was a son of the late Golden and Ada Rachel Meadows Harvey. Howard was a lifelong resident of Summers Co., he was a former bus driver for the Summers Co. Board of Education, a rental property manager and a former cook at the Pipestem Resort. Preceded in death by one infant son, Joshua Golden Harvey and one sister, Betty Harvey. Survived by his wife of 18 years, Kathy Adkins Harvey, three daughters, Kathy Renee and Tara Dawn Harvey both at Home, and Rachel Stover of Shady Spring, one son, Joshua David Harvey at home; three sisters, Anna Wood of Covington, VA, Barbara Sims of Hinton and Shirley Johnston of Bozoo, one grandson, Luke Stover of Shady Spring. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Ronald Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call at the funeral parlor from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Floyd and Danny Cook, Dustin McCallister, Russell and David Adkins and Timmy Sims.
