Hubert Frank Gill

 Hubert Frank Gill, 80, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 20, 2024 at his home following a long illness.

 Born April 13, 1944 at Hinton he was a son of the late Arnold E. and Rosie V. Adkins Gill.

 Hubert was of the Baptist Faith and a tree trimmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

 Hubert was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Young and second wife, Georgie Mae Carr; one son, Jamie Gill and siblings, Eugene Adkins, Arnold E. Gill Jr., Van T. Gill, Billy R. Gill, Janice Ruth Fox and Donna Kay Gill.

 Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Vicky Thompson and husband Timothy of Camp Creek; one son, Timothy W. Gill of Hinton; three grandchildren, Jessica, Brandy and Joseph; nine great grandchildren; six siblings, Bernice Hartwell of Hinton, Bonnie McGuire of Hinton, Sherry White and husband Timmy of Hinton, Dottie Gray and husband Curtis of Hinton, Wanda Fargo and husband Dale of MI and Johnny Gill and wife Tammy of Asbury; special cousins, Melba Jean Buckland and Carol Wills and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Benny Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery near Hinton. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Monday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
