Imogene Pack Adkins, 88, of Nimitz entered into eternal life peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday October 29, 2020 at her home following a long illness.
Born September 22, 1932 at Streeter she was the daughter of the late Winnie H. Jamie L. Lilly Pack. She attended the Jumping Branch Tabernacle as long as her health permitted. A homemaker and a well-known seamstress who enjoyed grooming her lawn and spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Clyde E. Adkins; one sister, Ina Mae Pack and three brothers, Ray Dean Pack, Walter Pack Sr., and Tommy Lee Pack.
Those left to cherish her memory include three grandchildren, Stephanie J. Meadows and companion Brandon Lilly of Nimitz, Sarah E. Ronat of Jumping Branch and Joseph R. Meadows and wife Megan of Mooresville, NC; four great grandchildren, Beyonka and Kaine Meadows, Kaitlyn Ronat and Liam Hanger and one sister, Maxine Bragg and husband James of Nimitz.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Monday November 2, 2020 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Tom Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Monday at the funeral parlors. Social distancing guidelines will be observed.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
