Ina Louise Lilly, 93, of Meadow Creek passed away at 4:05 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Pine Lodge in Beckley following a long illness.
Born December 21, 1916 at Kimball she was a daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth and John Smith. She was of the Methodist faith and was a loving and precious mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her life and she was a wonderful blessing to her family.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Wills and her second husband, Theodore McKinley Lilly; five brothers and four sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include three sons, Jack Austin of Nashville, TN, Lawrence Wills Jr. and James Wills both of Roanoke, VA; four daughters, Wanda Epperly of Lynchburg, VA, Shirley Richardson of Roanoke, VA, Mary Cumbee and husband Bill of Roanoke, VA and Carol Bennett and husband Odell of Meadow Creek with whom she made her home for five years; two granddaughters whom she helped to raise, Michell Bennett Carr and fiancé Douglas Penn of Beckley and Cynthia Bennett Gore and husband Michael S. of Hinton and five other granddaughters, Debra St. Clair and husband Bill of Roanoke, Debbie Rogers of Lynchburg, VA, Lisa Byrd and husband Tracy of Ohio, Angie Richardson of Roanoke, VA and Melissa Richardson of Roanoke, VA; four grandsons, Chuck Austin, Larry Wills, Bobby Wills and Jared Wills all of Roanoke, VA and twelve great grandchildren and one great grandchild due to be born in June.
Graveside services and burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 17, 2010 in the Richmond Cemetery at Sandstone with Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Drema Wilfong will sing at the graveside service.
