Ira P. "Robbie" Gearheart, 54, of Princeton, WV, formerly of Athens, died October 14, 2011 at his residence.
Born August 16, 1957, in Bluefield WV, he was the son of Mary F. Gearheart of Princeton, WV and the late Bobby C. Gearheart.
Robbie was formerly employed at Princeton Community Hospital where he worked for over 18 years. He was especially parcel to his dog Sammie.
Besides his father he is preceded in death by his close friend, Joseph Woodrum and brother-in-law Ronnie Barnhill.
He is survived by three brothers, Barry and wife Donna of King, NC, Alvin and wife Danet of Princeton, Wayne and wife Theresa of Princeton; three sisters, Cherry Finley and husband Gary of Bluefield, Roseanna Barnhill of Lashmeet and Phyliss and husband Ricky of Bluefield and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Woodrum Town Cemetery near Hinton with Pastor Danny Gunnoe officiating. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 10AM until time of departure for the cemetery on Tuesday.
