Issac Adkins

Issac â??Ikeâ?? Adkins, 86, of Meadow Creek went home to be with the Lord, April 9, 2009 at the home of his niece following a short illness. Born August 12, 1922 at Meadow Creek he was a son of the late Fisher and Sally Bragg Adkins. Issac was of the Baptist Faith and had lived almost all of his life at Meadow Creek where he loved spending his time outdoors hunting and fishing. Preceded in death by two brothers, David and Pete Adkins and three sisters, Lanie Adkins, Mary Hatfield and Delsia Diehl. Survived by one brother, Luther Adkins of Lockbridge and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews with whom he had a part in raising also survive. Graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Meadow Creek Cemetery with Pastor Roy Carter officiating.
