Jack C. Tyree, 77 of Jumping Branch, died at 12:15 A. M. Sunday, November 28, 2004 in the VA Medical Center at Beckley, following a long illness.Mr. Tyree was born at Hinton, May 12, 1927, a son of the late William B. and Mary Elsie Briers Tyree. He was a former resident of Hampton, VA, a retired machinist from the C&O Railroad and an Army Veteran of World War ll. Preceded in death by his wife Dora Hogan Tyree, Sept. 13, 2002, two brothers and one sister. Survived by Two Daughters Dianne Johnson and husband Frank of Princeton and Brenda Tyree Mock and husband Donald F. Mock Jr. of Nimitz, one Grandson, Stephen Johnson of Princeton, and one Great-Granddaughter Morgan Johnson of Princeton.Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Tuesday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel at Hinton, with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 5 to 7 P. M. Monday at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Pallbearers: James Kerr, Ricky Eades, Tommy Crook,Dennis Williams, Bilo Williams, and Fred Vass.
