Jackie Conner

Jackie Eugene Conner, 63, of Jumping Branch passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the Bowers Hospice House following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born July 16, 1956 in Summers County, he was a son of the late Jackie E. and Rose P. Stanley Conner.

Jackie was a member of the Jumping Branch Tabernacle. He was a farmer and enjoyed hunting, the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Wayne Conner.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Rita Huff Conner of Jumping Branch; one son, David Conner and wife Megan of Hinton; one grand dog, Tater; one brother, Lonnie Conner of Jumping Branch; two sisters, Teresa Bird of Jumping Branch and Nina Harrah and husband John of Beckley; one special niece and caregiver, Beth Huber and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held 6:30 PM Tuesday July 7, 2020 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Tom and Dalene Coffman officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30 PM until time of services at the funeral parlors. Following the services the body will be cremated. In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to the Bowers Hospice House 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley, WV 25801.
