James Farley

James Clifford Farley, 63, of Manning, South Carolina, formerly of Wayside, WV passed away following an apparent heart attack while hunting on September 28, 2009.
Born June 24, 1946 in Summers County, he is the son of the late Otho and Ethel Williams Farley. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Sue Buckland.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Judy Blevins Farley at home.
Two sons, James C. Farley II and his wife Michelle, of Beckley, WV and Jesse Farley and his wife Joann of Wayside, WV.
Three sisters, Mary and her husband Dick Marshall of Ohio, Martha and her husband Jack Bennett of Madams Creek, WV, and Margaret and her husband John Ryan of Clifton Forge, VA.
Seven brothers, Raymond Farley of Ohio, Norman and his wife Barbara of Madams Creek, WV, Stanley and his wife Betty of Ohio, Robert and his wife Pat of Vinton, VA, Eugene and his wife Ruth of Ohio, and Joe Farley and his companion Jean of Hinton, WV, and Wayne Farley and his companion Polly of Youngsville, NC.
He is survived by three granddaughters, April, Jill, and Amber, and two great granddaughters, Roxxi and Jenna.
He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and his special hunting and fishing buddies, Joey, Zero, Radar, Bob, Robbie and his son Robbie, Norman, William, John B., John R., Jerry, Mike ( Digger Dan ), and his loving dog Red.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, October 3, 2009, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor Chapel with Pastor Benny Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Family Cemetery at Madams Creek. Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm on Friday. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
