James Michael Greene

      James Michael Greene, 51, of Lewisburg went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Charleston Area Medical Center following a short illness.

      James was born in Hinton on July 26, 1972 to the late Jesse and Martha Brown Greene.

      He was a member of the Second Baptist Church at Talcott. James was a former Certified Nursing Assistant at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He enjoyed riding side by sides, picnics, family reunions and spending time with family and friends.

      James was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Greene, Robert Greene and Edward Lee Johnson; two sisters, Patricia Kirby and Carolyn Johnson and one sister in law, Regina Greene.

      Those left to cherish his memory include two brothers, Paul Greene (Dreama); Lloyd Johnson Jr.; two sisters, Mary Canada and Gloria Jean Johnson; nieces, Angela Lusk (Jeff), Kimberly Tabor (Eric), Jessica Austin (Gary), Kyra Pence, Kynadee Pence, Kyndra Pence and Mackenzie Gore; nephews, Chucky Gore (Holly), Paul Greene Jr. (Monica), Jonathan Meadows, Carson Gore, Zavier Farmer, Nevan Farmer and James-Earl Kessler; great nieces, Brooke Baldwin (Rockie), Kaelyn Gore, Madison Tabor and Kelsey Austin; great nephews, Brandon Gill (Jennifer), Dustin Barnett, Charlie Tabor, Lane Tabor and Braxton Perry and special friends, Autumn Ford, Michelle Gross, Tony Eggleston and Missy Gore.

      A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Haynes Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
