James Kenneth Harvey, 73, of Talcott passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburg, PA following a sudden illness.
Born March 18, 1944 in Wyoming County he was a son of the late O.T. and Virginia Lambert Harvey.
James was a veteran of the US Army and a heavy equipment operator who retired into farming. He enjoyed spending time with his family, taking care of his animals and gardening.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Mary Kathryn Wallace Harvey at home; three sons, Shane Harvey and wife Tammy of Hurricane, Brett Harvey and wife Melissa of Pence Springs and Clint Harvey and wife Eileen of Morgantown; one daughter, Tanya Hunter and husband James of Union; seven grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas, Christian, Maisey and Evelyn Harvey and Luke and Wade Hunter; three brothers, Richard T. Harvey and wife Leanne of Hopewell, VA, John F. Harvey of Princeton and Tony B. Harvey and wife Alice of Hinton.
A private family service was held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Keller Presbyterian Church in Talcott.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
