Jane G. Conner, 86, of Greenbrier Drive, Hinton died 9:00 A.M. Thursday, December 20, 2007 following a long illness. Born September 3, 1921 in Hinton she was a daughter of the late Otis â??Oatâ?? Garrison and Lula Burger Garrison. A member of the Central Baptist Church, she was a homemaker who was a fifteen year volunteer of the Summers County Hospital Auxiliary, a loving mother and caring mother to both of her sons and the last surviving member of her family. Preceded in death by her husband Gilbert â??Gibbyâ?? Conner in 1987; four sisters, Cloteel, Ann, Eleanor and Francics; one brother, Ned. Survived by two sons, Bob Conner and his wife Debbie and Wayne Conner both of Hinton; three grandchildren, Michelle and Brian Bowling of Neverra, FL, Shawn and Jessie Conner of Hinton and Jared and Jessica Conner of Princeton; four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Bailey Bowling, Cayden and Preston Conner; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Cobb and Bishop Earl Shrewsbury officiating. Entombment will follow in the Greenbrier Burial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. Saturday December 22, 2007 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
