Janet Meadows, 77, went home to be with the Lord, February 25, 2011 after a long illness.
Born February 1, 1934 in New Britain, CT she was the daughter of the late Carmela D?Angelo Santucci and Vincenzo Santucci. She worked as a cook at Ledge Crest Nursing Home till her retirement when she came to WV to stay with her daughter, Valerie. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and loved all her friends that surrounded her.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son, William Joseph Meadows; a sister, Viola Hartmen and son-in-law, Tommy Harrah.
Survived by her daughter, Valerie Harrah of Madams Creek; son, Vincent Meadows and wife Brenda of Madams Creek; three grandchildren, Joseph ?Joey?, Daniel ?Danny? and Amanda all of Madams Creek; one sister, Maria Bassar of Stamford, CT; four step-granddaughters, one step-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family there will be no calling hours with a private burial at Saint Mary Cemetery in New Britain, CT. A memorial service will be held on Friday March 4, 2011 at 7 PM at the Church Of The Living God, Madams Creek, Hinton with Pastor Ron Iddings officiating.
