Janice Fox

Janice Fox went to be with our Lord in Heaven July 31, 2022 after a long illness.   Born April 6, 1941 at Hinton she was the daughter of the late Audie Clayton Graham and Zona Lee Bennett Graham.

 Beloved by all: family and friends. Always remembered as the sweetest, kindest, and caring lady. Proverbs best describes the type of woman as she was known.

Proverbs 31: 10

Who can find a virtuous woman?  For her price is far above rubies.

Proverbs 31: 25-31

25  Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26  She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27  She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28  Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

29  Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30  Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:  but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

31  Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

            Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert J. Fox, her son, David J. Fox, sisters, Velva Watt, Ovella Loebs, granddaughters, Tracey Thomas and Brittany Lilly.

            Left to cherish her memories are her children Penny Cole, Pamela Lilly (“Sput”), and Brian Fox (Jaimie); grandchildren Stephanie Creed and daughters, Kiza and Klohey; Anna Blackwell (Sammy) and daughter Montgomery; Clayton Fox (Rebecca) and daughters Willow and Elora; Hunter Fox, Julia Fox, Hope McBride (Elijah) and daughters Isabella and Grace; Sara Magen Cyrus (Geoffrey) and children Gavin, Carson, and Ainsley; sisters Bonnie Ward (Mark) and Patricia Harvey; brother Audie Carlos Graham; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

            Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Friday August 5, 2022 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Upland Cemetery.  Friends may call from noon until time of services on Friday at the funeral parlors.

“Sput” Michael Lilly, Geoffrey Cyrus, Gavin Cyrus, Mark Ward, Mike Bennett, and Mike Fox will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to thank the staff of Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation and Dr Stanley Day for their loving care during the last year of her life.
