Janice Taylor

Janice P. Taylor, 63, of Marie entered into eternal rest at her home Sunday, January 17, 2010 following a long illness.
Born May 17, 1946 in Raleigh Co. she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Shrewsberry Bonds. Janice lived most of her life in Summers Co, had formerly worked as a cook at Riverview Nursing Home, enjoyed spending time with family and friends and preparing meals for family gatherings.
Preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Taylor; two brothers, Lowell and Harold Bonds and two sisters, Norma Cook and Mildred Lusk.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 48 years, Edward Taylor of Marie; four daughters, Brenda Vass of Marie, Barbara Taylor of Glen Daniel, Teresa Miller of Jumping Branch and Heather Vass of Marie; two grandchildren, Zeke and Felicia Miller of Jumping Branch; two brothers, Freddie Bonds and companion Mary Allen of Florida and Roger Bonds of Sophia; two sisters, Mary Claypool and husband Mike of Sophia and Dora Cook and companion Danny Sweeney of Charlotte, NC; three special friends, Bonnie, Brenda and Mary and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service and burial will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Restwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Donald Lee Altizer officiating. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 11:30 A.M. until time to depart for the cemetery on Thursday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
